The dedicated staff at our Christian children’s home are the heart of our mission, providing daily care and creating a loving, Christ-centered environment for every child. Our staff play a vital role in the children’s everyday lives\u2014preparing meals, helping with homework, spending time in recreation, playing games, and simply being present. Their compassion and consistency ensure that each child feels safe, valued, and nurtured. Mark Reed joined Harvest Child Care Ministries in 2022 and serves as a Case Manager at the Emergency and Assessment Shelter. Mark is licensed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and has over two decades of experience working with troubled youth. He has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He attends a local Baptist church in Weber City, VA. He has two sons and one grandson. Prior to coming to Harvest, she worked at another residential program. She attends a local Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap. Cathy has one son and three grandchildren.
