The dedicated staff at our Christian children’s home are the heart of our mission, providing daily care and creating a loving, Christ-centered environment for every child. Our staff play a vital role in the children’s everyday lives—preparing meals, helping with homework, spending time in recreation, playing games, and simply being present. Their compassion and consistency ensure that each child feels safe, valued, and nurtured. We are deeply grateful for their faithful service and the lasting impact they make each day.
Mark Reed joined Harvest Child Care Ministries in 2022 and serves as a Case Manager at the Emergency and Assessment Shelter. Mark is licensed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and has over two decades of experience working with troubled youth. He has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He attends a local Baptist church in Weber City, VA. He has two sons and one grandson. He and his wife Summer reside in Hiltons, VA.
Cathy Fleenor joined Harvest Child Care Ministries in 2013 and serves as a Residential Counselor at the Ruby Dobson Boys Cottage. Cathy has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to coming to Harvest, she worked at another residential program. She attends a local Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap. Cathy has one son and three grandchildren. Cathy and her husband Randy reside in Big Stone Gap, VA.
Adam Perry joined Harvest Child Care Ministries in 2013 and serves as a Residential Counselor at the Ruby Dobson Boys Cottage. Adam has a Bachelor of Science Degree. He attends a local FWB Church and resides in Kingsport TN.
Yehiela Watts joined Harvest Child Care Ministries in 2025 and serves as a Residential Counselor at the Stickleyville Cottage Girls Cottage. Prior to coming to Harvest, she worked at another residential program. She attends a non-denominational church in Elizabethton, TN and resides in Kingsport, TN.
Becky Hilliard joined Harvest Child Care Ministries in 2022 and serves as a Residential Counselor at the Stickleyville Girls Cottage. Becky has an Associates Degree in Accounting. She has a decade of experience working with troubled youth. She has served the youth departments of two FWB Churches. She is currently a member of a local FWB Church and resides in Bluff City, TN.
