The cottage features two family rooms. The smaller featuring an upright piano and a beautiful view of the inground pool.
The larger family room features a large window providing a stunning view of the Appalachian Mountains. This room is where the girls spend the majority of their time. They love playing video games, board games, and watching movies. This room also hosts family devotions every night.
The kitchen and dining room combination are a favorite spot. Here the staff prepare home cooked meals daily. The girls love to help in the kitchen and learn how to cook and bake. In the dining room, the girls and staff enjoy family meals together. Many of our residents have not had family meals before stepping into our home. At family meals the girls love to talk with each other and staff, building relationships
We have a saying at Harvest, “Love equals time.” We believe spending quality time with our kids is the absolute best way to show kids they are loved. The girls enjoy a variety of activities with our staff year-round.
A favorite summer activity is the in-ground pool. The girls as well as the rest of the campus love swimming and playing in the pool with their staff. They wish they could stay here all day!

Stickleyville Cottage features 2 large bedrooms which the girls are encouraged to decorate.
At Harvest, we believe recreation is essential to a child’s development—kids should get to be kids! Inside, the girls enjoy video games, crafts (a favorite!), board games, and TV. Outside, they’re encouraged to explore and enjoy God’s creation. Our girls love riding bikes and scooters, playing basketball and group games, and spending sunny days swimming in our on-campus, in-ground pool.
Painting is also a much-loved activity of both the girls and the staff. The girls are proud of their beautiful artwork and love to show them off. The paintings pictured are displayed in the family room and were painted by two of our girls.
In addition to our girls, Stickelyville Cottage is home to some fury residents as well. The girls take care of two cats, Ollie and Socks. Ollie is gray and fluffy, and only has 3 legs! Socks was named due to his cute white socks!
